Knls has partnered with BAI to support schools and other institutions to create library spaces and enhance book lending activities for library users. The partnership has resulted into various projects that have seen knls libraries collaborating with local stakeholders to promote literacy at the community level. During the period under review, the following project activities were undertaken:

 Community Reading Award Microproject 2021

Three knls Libraries-Nakuru, Laikipia and Mwingi received the BAI Community Reading Award to implement Community reading initiatives.
